2025 - New Headquarters
We moved our Budapest headquarters to the Hungária Office Park in Zugló.
2024 - Fresh Brand Identity, New Site
Lightware unveiled a new visual identity and opened a new engineering service center in Szeged, creating jobs for 43 highly skilled development engineers.
2023 - A Quarter Century in the AV Industry
Lightware celebrated its 25th anniversary.
2022 - Record Revenue
For the first time, Lightware reached HUF 16 billion in revenue. During the year, we also changed our legal form, becoming a privately held company.
2020 - Launching the Flagship of the USB-C Era
Introduction of the Taurus UCX, a product capable of transmitting video, audio, power, and network data through a single USB-C cable.
2017 - The Arrival of UBEX
A device capable of zero-latency, lossless signal transmission over IP-based networks.
2006 - First International Presence
Launch of our first proprietary product, the EDID Manager, marking our entry into the international AV industry. We also developed the first digital video multiplexer matrix (32x32 DVI and HDMI Matrix Switcher), a milestone in the industry.
2013 - International Expansion
New offices opened in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and Asia. We also launched Event Manager for meeting room automation.
1998 - Where It All Started
Lightware’s story began in a 29-square-meter room, initially focusing on projector and display repair and system installations.
